Ingredients

  1. Puffed rice .. We can also use puffed wheat. ( 1 glass)
  2. Tamarind,date chutney – 1 tsp
  3. Mint , Coriander chutney – 1 tsp (optional)
  4. Boiled potato – 1 small
  5. Tomato – 1 small
  6. Cucumber – 1 small
  7. Onion – 1 small
  8. Coriander – for garnishing
  9. Sev, Khakra (gram flour fritters)
  10. Boiled or roasted ground nuts
  11. Raisins
  12. Pomogranate
  13. Salt, pepper, chaat masala ( to taste)
  14. Paper plate to make a cone.
  15. Tape to stick the cone in place
  16. Knife

Instructions

1.Assemble all items at one spot in the kitchen Peel and finely chop the potatoes, onion, tomato & cucumber in a plastic container
2.Add raisins, Groundnuts, salt, pepper, chaat powder , Mint chutney & tamarind date chutney to it. Add puffed rice , cornflake chivda, sev to this.
3.Close the container & do the shake -shake. Open to reveal the ready bhel.Make a cone using a paper plate . Stick in place using a tap. Fill it with bhel and eat away..
