Ingredients

  1. 1 medium sized radish
  2. 1-2 red chilis
  3. 1/4 tsp coriander seeds
  4. 1/4 cup grated coconut
  5. A small piece tamarind
  6. Salt as per your taste

Ingredients required for tempering:

  1. 1/2 red chili
  2. 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  3. 4-5 curry leaves
  4. 1 tsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and grate the radish.
  2. Take coconut, red chili, coriander seeds, salt and tamarind in a grinder.
  3. Fine grind it by adding little water.
  4. Now to the same jar add in grated radish and grind it for about 5 seconds.
  5. Transfer it to a bowl and temper it with oil, red chili, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Serve it with hot steaming rice.
